Now that we've hit the middle of September, I just wanted to thank everyone who red, shared or used my last post to order a commission from me.
I was suprised and moved by the backing, to be honest, so much so that I'm still in the middle of following up with requests made last month.
So, to everyone who is still waiting for sketches or finished pieces via mail, I have to impose on your patience for a bit longer, but rest assured, everything will be done and sent very soon.
In the meantime, this experience, besides helping a lot with everything that's been going on with this mixed-up year, is producing a few very fun pieces, in terms of themes and execution.
Below are a few examples from the past weeks, some finished and ready to ship, and others still to be finalized.
The list is still open for the moment, if you don't mind waiting a bit for the finished product.
With all the mishappenings of 2015, projects have been piling up and there's a convention season coming up that will take a bit of my available time in the upcoming future.
This takes us to another topic, convention.
Here's the list of events I'll be attending, in Portugal and abroad.
NYCC (October 8 to 11) - I'll be sharing a table with my friend Jorge Coelho at this year's Artist Alley.
Lucca Comics and Games (October 29 to November 1st) - Once again, I'll be a guest with Passenger Press, promoting our latest anthology book, Amazzoni, to be launched at the weekend of the festival.
AmadoraBD (October 23 to November 8) - I'll be attending in association with the site Comicheart. More news to be confirmed soon.
Comic Con Portugal (December 4 to 6) - Again, I'll be there represented by Comicheart, with good news on that most elusive and postponed of projects, Hanuram the Golden. More soon.
At all of the four events, I'll have prints and original art, and I'll be available for commissions done on the shows or to be done and shipped after the fact.
If you're attending any of these shows, feel free to say hi and check out my work.
